Ilam, Nov 6, IRNA – Number of pilgrims crossing border into Iraq is increasing, Governor of the city of Mehran in this west country province Morad Naseri said on Sunday.
Speaking to IRNA, the Governor said that about 20 thousand pilgrims are passing through Mehran International Border which borders Iraq per day.
He noted that the number of pilgrims passing the Mehran International Border is increasing on a daily basis.
There are no problems with passage of pilgrims from the Mehran border spot into Iraq, Naseri underlined.
He said that the Iranian border police will not permit pilgrims lacking visas to pass the border.
